We are looking for a Graduate: ICT Software Developer to join our digital innovation team. You will collaborate with experienced software developers, work on impactful projects, and gain hands-on experience in enterprise-level systems that support essential energy infrastructure.

📌 Role purpose & Key Performance Areas
Purpose: The incumbent will collaborate directly with Software Developers on live projects, supporting the entire development lifecycle for business-critical applications.
Key Performance Areas (KPAs) include, but are not limited to:
- 🔍 Researching, designing and implementing software programs.
- 🐞 Debugging and testing code to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- 📄 Documenting and testing new software applications.
- 🛠️ Researching, investigating and fixing a wide range of technical issues.
- 📚 Creating technical documentation for reference and reporting.
- ⚡ Recommending and executing improvements on software applications.
- 🤝 Collaborating with senior Software Developer and cross-functional teams.
- 🗄️ Designing, modelling and implementing high-performance database solutions.
- 🧠 Proactively learning about new technologies and industry trends.
🎓 Minimum qualifications & experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or Honours in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or related field – NQF level 7 or 8.
- Degree obtained within the last two years.
- Strong academic record: Minimum 60% / Credit average overall.
- Namibian Citizen (documentary proof required).
- Programming Languages: PHP, C#, ASP.Net, CSS, HTML, JavaScript.
- Software Development Lifecycle models & methodologies.
- SQL Server Database (design & modelling).
- Software Version control (Git, etc).
